Artists
Originally from Inukjuak, asinnajaq lives and works in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal. Their practice spans photography, film, writing, and exhibition curation. They draw inspiration from their Inuit heritage, human rights, and what they call “the abundant beauty of the world.”

A mother, a daughter and granddaughter, she is also an editor, video maker, and new media artist. Born to one Abenaki parent and one Québécois parent, she works with video to explore the ties of transmission and memory with those who came before her and those who will follow.
